Straight answers
What does the parity gate compare?
Statement totals derived from Finanly's canonical ledger facts against the ERP's own balance sheet, P&L and trial balance, after every hourly refresh (ledger facts refresh at :05 each hour). A disagreement is surfaced on the page, not hidden.
Can I build board reports?
You can build and export the reports and dashboards behind them today — CSV, XLSX, PNG, PDF. A packaged board-pack generator with narrative is on the roadmap, not shipped, and we won't pretend otherwise.
What is Report Studio, exactly?
The drag-and-drop report builder. It exposes 27 business tables and 15 personal tables on the governed semantic model; joins are resolved automatically, and output can be a table, pivot, chart or map. No SQL is written by you or by the model.
Do Ask and Report Studio ever disagree?
No — by construction. Both compile to the same semantic plan against the same cubes (18 business cubes, 89 measures). Same question, same number, whichever door you enter.
How fresh are the numbers?
Cube refreshes execute every 15 minutes; ledger facts refresh hourly; dashboards are pre-warmed every 20 minutes. A report preview returns in about 40 milliseconds on the live canary.
Multi-currency statements?
Yes. Accounts can be held in EUR, USD or other currencies; measures carry base-currency amounts and FX revaluation runs as an approval-gated export, so the balance sheet reconciles in the reporting currency.
Can I share a dashboard with my accountant?
Invite them as a user on the company tenant; they see the same dashboards under the same row-level security. Public share links are not shipped.
What about the reports my ERP already has?
They still exist and remain the ledger of record. Finanly's statements are derived from the same facts and then parity-checked against them — which is how we catch sync drift instead of discovering it at year-end.
Is every report certified?
Financial statements are parity-gated hourly. For Ask, 65 of the 86 questions in our catalog are certified answerable today; the remaining 21 fail closed rather than guess. Report Studio passes 31 compatibility classes.
